I've spent eighteen years in a variety of roles, from PA and coordinator in the beginning up to Executive Producer and Technical Director in the past decade. Over that time I've seen a tidal wave of buzzwords and cliches come and go, but to me the work comes down to a few fundamentals; who are you trying to speak to and who do you work with?

To that end I decode the technical, take core creative elements from my collaborators and synthesize them into clear deliverables. In tandem, I work with technicians to engineer the audio visual systems & software interfaces that will most effectively communicate my clients' message.

Ultimately I am guided by the knowledge that technology can dazzle but understanding your audience and collaborators are key.

Leveraging Immersive Design to meet the challenges of our time.

In 2020, as the Experiential Design industry was jolted by both the global Coronavirus pandemic and a national inflection point over racial injustice, I was invited to share my thoughts on these matters in a few interesting forums.

In this video, I sat down for a virtual panel discussion on how the concept of “Transmedia Design” (using multiple storytelling media to amplify multiple voices, introduced by my friend Wiena Lin) could provide a toolkit to promote social change.

“…most industries were humming along smoothly and then this thing came out of the blue and disrupted so much. And people are like, how do I get back to what I was doing? And that's not the thing. We can't go back.

We have to figure out a way to go forward.”
